Makes sense.
HBO needs to get fighters and Jacobs is a potential opponent for HBO fighters GGG/Canelo/Lemieux/Cotto (for this year anyway)/Andrade/etc.
Jacobs doesn't have a ton of options under Haymon's PBC since his 154-168 roster is thin and Haymon tends to sit guys out for a long period of time.Comment

Wilder is promoted by DiBella. Tweet him and ask for a signed contract since you need proof or will blindly continue your idiocy.

Haymons fighters don’t have promoters promoting them and they only fight once a year. That’s the prefect recipe to becoming a star. Lol lol lol lol lol.Comment

PBC is basically a defunct business at this point anyway. Showtime is gobbling up all their fights. Degale was with Matchroom and fought on a PBC card so no issues working with Haymon I'm guessing. HBO I'm sure would be willing to use Haymon guys as well. Not sure how willing Haymon would be to let a guy like Charlo fight on HBO though? Probably have a handshake deal with Espinoza to keep good names exclusive to showtime
Anyone with half a brain can see Haymon didn't wantvjacobs to do this deal. There is no benefit for HaymonComment

Keith Connolly, Jacobs' manager, told ESPN that he, Jacobs and Haymon agreed that taking the HBO and Matchroom deal "was the best move for his career."Comment
