        This doesn't surprise me. Jack will be turning 34 this year, and I doubt he's trying to face hungry up-and-comers like Bivol. He'll wait for a more notable/valuable opponent like the Stevenson/Alvarez winner. I'm not mad at it. If he suffered a setback against Bivol, it would be harder to come back from than when he lost to Edwards.

                            why would anyone toss their belt in the trash and not fight their mandatory? we dont see that all the time. if he has a bigger fight lined up then ok makes sense. if hes fighting liam smith instead....

                                    No duck at all...Jack is calling to fight probably most explosive puncher p4p in boxing (stevenson)...Bivol is a good technical fighter..not a killer....Jack vs Bivol isn't too sellable, both aren't vastly popular (Showtime has turned down fights before) and most importantly Bivol promotional situation may not incite loyalty from Showtime to want to invest in a fight....BOXING IS A BUSINESS
