Comments Thread For: Campbell Will Use Experience of Olympics in Jorge Linares Clash

LUKE CAMPBELL will join an exclusive club if he beats WBA lightweight champion Jorge Linares in the early hours of Sunday. The Hull boxer wants to join James DeGale and Anthony Joshua as Britain's only Olympic gold medallists to win professional world titles. But he faces a tough task in what should be a fascinating challenge against Venezuelan road warrior Linares, who already holds wins over Campbell's compatriots Kevin Mitchell and Anthony Crolla.

Good luck with that. I think this is too much for Campbell, but he seems like a cat who wants to see whats up & get out if he's not THAT good &/or get paid sooner rather than later so fair play to him.

And Linares has sh^t the bed before so its not like he couldn't do it again. I don't think he will, but who knows maybe Campbell shines & Linares doesn't. Expecting a Linares showcase doe.

Yeah linares is cool he has the edge in skills in almost every fight but the fact that he is fragile makes him exciting to watch

In to the Lion's den he goes. Come on Luke!. First and last in the exchanges, body shots and hit him with a ****** straight cross from early!. Going to be tough but he's a step up on Crolla & Mitchell so let's see.
