The name CompuBox sounds hi tech but it's just 2 guys, each watching 1 fighter. These guys have a laptop with 4 keys to press: jabs thrown-landed, non-jabs thrown-landed.
A power punch is simply a flashy name for a non jab.
Besides the difficulty of getting the punch count right (the hand is a lot quicker than the eye), there's also the difficulty in judging if it lands.
Finally there's no distinction made between a hard punch or one that barely makes contact.
