I see folks asking why doesn't Crawford offer to fight Mikey at 140. He could, and probably should. But at the end of the day, boxing is an athletic competition. And the objective is to win. So why not try and gain an advantage? Mikey is it here offering to go up to 154 to fight Cotto. He shouldn't have a problem going to 147 for Crawford. Reminds me of when Dawson offered to come down to 168 to fight Ward. Ward probably should have fought him at 175. But Dawson offered to meet Ward at his home weight. Why not take the advantage if it's freely offered.
