"Bread’s Response: I give Andre Ward a reasonable shot at defeating Joshua. Ward has a style that he hasn’t brought out yet as a pro. Look at him fight those big guys in the 2004 Olympics. I’m not saying he’s going to win but I am saying he’s not hopeless. Joshua will have to really know how to trap and coral the smaller man. Most big men cannot do that. And when they can’t their size is not an advantage."

Man, American press have a very unrealistic view of Andre Ward, to the point of it being an insane type of fetish. How is Ward, who wins his fights by wrestling and using a physical approach against his opponent, going to out wrestle and out strengthen a 6'5" 250lb heavyweight who on fight night will outweigh him by 60lbs. Ward does not have the quick feet and fast hands that RJJ had nor does he have the abilities of JT to fight heavyweights. Ward would be knocked out cold against Joshua.

I think GGG-Saunders and Canelo-Lemieux are good fights. Jacobs should lay waste to everybody else while he can.

Exactly right. Ward looked human against Kovalev because they had a similar frame and reach and Kovalev could jab with him. Joshua isn't just heavier but he massively outreaches Ward, who would have to work to get inside against someone far more powerful. Ward isn't powerful either. There's no way Ward could win that fight, and nothing on boxing history would be comparable. Joshua might well literally kill Andre Ward.

Hart beats Ramirez huh? Breads predictions are not as good as everyone says They are.

Yeah I agree, plus RJJ wouldn't have even fought Joshua. He took the title from John Ruiz ffs.

Breadman totally lacks objectivity when it comes to GGG and Andre Ward.

He hides under a mask of objectivity but if you can read between the lines you can tell the blatant bias he has towards them, and the blatant one he has against Floyd Mayweather.

Now I'm a Ward fan of course but that doesn't mean I can't tell that Bread just sometimes loses touch with reality when it comes to Ward.

Even then, I still find it hard to believe what I read him say about a Ward and Joshua fight. That he actually thinks Ward has even a glimmer of hope against Joshua has gotta be the dumbest thing I ever read in my life.

Also, trying to sweep under the rug the fact that GGG has looked suspect since he stepped up opposition is just another eye shocker for my eyes to read. I mean this shieeet is blatantly clear. Even clean water aint clearer than this.

                simply not true

Ward does whatever he needs to win, depending on opponent

he never fights two opponents the same way

that is what makes him such a good fighter, and so difficult to prepare for

the fight would not happen the way you think at all

but yea, talking about Ward/heavyweight is absurd in my book, my money would be on Joshua

if he were not discussing Ward/Joshua, I would 100% agree with bread

sometimes the smaller man is too small

                  especially if he is elite

the bigger man has little/no chance to land anything meaningful

happens in the gym all the time

Ward should stay away from Joshua, that talk is just silly
