Lmao....floyd is spotting these fighters 5 years and nobody is even close except ward who just retired. Canelo might be able to take but he'd have to go on a tear.

As usual, fanboys picking Mayweather lol. Ward's resume is better than Floyd this decade.

          Other candidates (not in order)
Chocolatito - If he keeps winning against top fighters (deep resume)
Golovkin - Winning against Canelo in rematch and unifying all MW major belts
Crawford - Undisputed Champion. Winning against Pacquiao, Thurman and Spence (or at least 2 of those 3)
Kovalev - Winning against Stevenson & Beterbiev will put him in radar as a candidate for FOTD
Canelo - Winning against Golovkin in rematch and unifying all MW major belts.
Lomachencko - Unifying all the belts in his division. Winning against Rigo and Mikey
Mayweather - Winning against Thurman and Spence will put him as the legit FOTD this decade, since he will surpassed Ward with these wins.

For me, this is one of the weakest decade in boxing history.

Last decade, Pacquaio's competition was against Mayweather, Bhop, Barrera & Morales (all atg)

edit: You can add Spence, Joshua and Usyk as candidates, depends on what they achieved after 2.5 years.

          edit again:For TS,decade 2010-2019(not 2020, 11 years)

how the **** are people saying canelo lost badly to mayweather, many thought he lost to lara, some thought he lost to trout who outlanded him, 90 percent of media seem to think he lost to golovkin. And that equals fighter of the decade? I want whatever you guys have been taking

he better get started, having only 2 fights vs quality opposition and struggling like hell to get a decision in one of those fights and the other scored a draw isn't the kind of stuff that wins fighter of the decade.

he's got a ways to go, but he looks up to the task, will Haymon match him up tough enough to win?

if he beats the winner of Wilder/Ortiz and can somehow get Fury out of his funk and beat him also would make a helluva case for himself.
