Kovalev having the 'last' laugh for now.

If Kov gets koed in his next fight Ward will be laughing.

Kovalev is right though, I would have liked to have seen a 3rd fight.... hopefully with a clear, non controversial ending... alas.

When you witness a mma fighter... who's 0-0.... makes 100 mill in his first fight......I can see why the p4p number 1 would feel like saying fuuck it. Not saying that's the case....but I would understand.

I tend to agree, what is Kov smoking he got beat twice, ok so both had their share of controversies but the better man won both. This is sad.

Ward might have won on paper, thanks to the officials and the ref... but he felt Kovalev’s shots in both fights, and they broke his body and will when he heard that Kovalev considers them even 1-1 and wanted a third fight haha.

            Kovalev finished his career.

Having said that, you Wardaholics need to own up to the fact that Ward fouled the living daylights out of Kovalev in that last fight. Win the fight legit, and I am a fan. Cheat, and you're on my b.s. radar full blast til you retire. And even then I'll still say it. Look at Kessler after Ward heatbutted him like crazy. That's an excellent example, among many. And most fans saw Kovalev win the first fight vs Krusher. So no need bringing up the scorecards. We all know what those read. At this stage, I really don't care what happens, since Ward is out of the picture FNO apparently. But I'll be calling out all Wardaholics if they try to spin it like Ward was some angel. He was fast and loose out the wazoo with the rules, and Wardaholics need to admit it.
Know I'll probably regret the few minutes of life I'm wasting typing this. But outta curiosity, has it ever crossed you Kovalevaholics minds that had Sergey not cried wolf so many times on legal blows and not tried to BS himself into breaks when he was hurt from legal shots, maybe he gets a little more help from Weeks on borderline shots? The sequence before the right hand that put Kovalev on ***** Street is a prime example. Kovalev was hit with two legal body shots that doubled him over. He complained, and Weeks wasn't having it anymore. And from Weeks body language you could tell he was tired of Kovalev's crying and complaining. And on the sequence that ultimately ended the fight. I think the final two blows were low. But you Kovalevaholics conveniently forget that Sergey was getting the piss beat outta him and stumbling around the ring. And was once again doubled over, and sat on the middle rope from a legal shot, before the final two. Weeks had a beaten fighter in front of him and protected him. Not to mention. Technically, Kovalev took an illegal position by sitting on the middle rope. Its the equivalent of getting punched in the nutz while you're forcing your opponent's head down. Kovalev forced Ward to hit him low because he bent over below Ward's waist, which is illegal. Is Ward not allowed to attack the body simply because Kovalev is cheating?
