He's good at fighting and he's good at being very dirty. It's a fair assessment, it's more than fair, it's so blatantly obvious that none of his biggest lovers even bother to deny it.

The most honest post on this whole site. You people are really terrible at hiding by your racism. Respect to this poster for not even bothering to hide.

Still doesn't change that Ward is a dirty fighter. The poster you quoted is a disgrace, but then again so are you by insinuating that everyone else is racist because they have a different opinion than yours.

I made no such insinuation. I clearly stated that a lot of the posters here are racist. I'm not a coward who needs to hide the truth. The slant against black fighters here is undeniable. The poster that I quoted just stated it plainly instead of talking in code.

I don't have any issue with people who have differing opinions and I enjoy debates on sports. I'm not going to dumb myself down and ignore the obvious though.

Agree. If the ref isn't stopping it then the other guy has the option of doing the same. I think that's where Kovalev went wrong in the second fight. He whined about Wards tactics but didn't do anything to make Ward think twice about doing it.

No it's not man. That elbow strike is advanced tech and highly practiced. You don't learn on your own how to low blow when the ref is behind your opponent, thats taught! Spearing heads like that, very much practiced.

Holding and hitting is very much an advanced skill. That doesn't come natural.

Give this a watch. I que'd up some Am's footage for you.

This bout was 4 x 2 minute rounds. An 8 minute fight with 4 minutes of octopus grabbing by Ward?

Look at those under hooks man. When I fought in the Am's, the refs pulled fighters apart instant. He led that cat around the ring with his hooks dug deep in for a full 10 seconds!

At 16:24 he holds and hits the dude behind the head. 16:59, 17:26, 17:52 (2x lol), he holds and hits again. I stopped counting after that, too much work dude.

Did he do that in the Olympics? What were his results in the Olympics? All I see is a bunch of W's no matter how he fought or what tactics he used in both am's and pros.

He was always like that. In his earlier fights, he did the same thing. I'm not gonna say that most fighters never cheat at all. Some do. I've seen some who didn't though. It's much more respectable to play by the rules. Sure they can get dirty back but that drags the sport down. It's better to show integrity in the ring. Head butting and clinching and all the rest really screws the fans of a true fight. I blame him for cheating and I blame the refs for not calling him on it and I really blame his fans who excuse the hell out of it. Obviously their sole agenda is for Ward to win by any means necessary. That adds to the problem. It reminds me of a parent who watches their kid do something awful and rewards them for such behavior. It teaches people to be lower than they should be and we're talking about a thirty-something pro athlete who has always known better.
