Headbutts and low blows happen in every fight. You don't say anything when its a guy you like so do the same with Ward.I wanted to see him fight Stevenson but if that doesn't happen it will not keep him out of the HOF.

He beat Kov twice-only the dumbest of people would suggest he is ducking a trilogy.

Retired undefeated and a LHW champ. HOF'er.

You said he didnt win the first kovalev fight. Plus he was dropped.

He won the 2nd fight off low blows anf the ref admitted it.
On top of that his trainer was talking with ward
An dc said who knows what about tyeir training camp.

Kovalev should go to abel sanchez and fight ward a 3 time.

Fact is ward is dirty and its an overwhelming consensus . He literally has head butts in his combinations he throws. Low blows as well cause he knows refs wont even warn him , they definately wont take a point.

Overwhelming consensus of who-you, freedom, mlac, dramshow and a few others with your warped racial mentality? GTFOH!

He beat Kessler in a tough fight. He got a decision against Kov and then made him say No Mas in sputnik.

Kov and Kessler are just beneath ward. Maybe they and you can serve food and boo at the induction ceremony.

Whether fighter A is better than fighter B
Is beside the point. Some fighters are better than others but head to head.

          Some are.

It gives no right to headbutt anc lowblow and excessively clinch as a part of a punch or. Punch combination. Its cheating.

Ward is a cheater. He is a dirty fighter.

I am not a Ward fan and I hate the way he fights. I never thought he was the best PFP boxer in the world either before or after his two fights with Kovalev. I think he is a damn good boxer but I don't rate him as high as many do. I think he is a good intelligent honest person. The reason he gave for retiring now was a good intelligent one. I believe him and don't think he will ever fight again. I wish him well and I like him as a commentator. He has a great undefeated record and he never avoided any boxer. The idea that he is retiring to avoid Stevenson or any other light heavyweight makes no sense to me. He jumped at the chance to fight Kovalev who at the time was by far the most feared light heavyweight in the world. He said he is retiring because his body can no longer take the hard training needed for him to be at his best. If he can't be at his best he doesn't want to continue fighting and possibly let his team, his fans and himself down. That sounds like a damn good reason to me. He has nothing left to prove and some other good older boxers should probably do the same thing for the same reason.
