Anybody can "brutalize" the opponent by throwing a string of blatant low punches, and "win" a fight by KO instead of being disqualified.

Since Russia is a poor country and can never even come close to generating the revenue the US does (same case as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Philippines, etc. etc.), the better fighter of an alien country has to suffer blatant referee/judge injustices, in order to get a payday he could never ever even fathom in his home country.

Sad but true. In Russia, Kovalev could low-blow that cheater low-blowing hugging Ward at will, and "win" the fight easily, but both fighters would get a pathetic revenue compared to what they'd get in the US. So that's the story: "lose" by blatant cheating, but get all set financially in a way you would never be able to in your home country.

It's a fight to rebuild his confidence and I'm okay with that. I'm not up for these narrative that Kov had Ward's number and would have, could have, should have. Otherwise, he eould be fighting the Barrera, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev fighters, not the ones with hardly any defense.

Can't argue with that! I believe that Beterbiev would fold him in half right now. Honestly I think Marcus Browne would beat him at this point! It must suck for Barerra though! What does he do, wait on Kov?

He definitely should not wait and I don't think he will. Maybe, he will fight Browne? He has seriously called out a few people, but they all may be tied up.

Kov even admits he lost the fight, but look at his fan boys.... The main low blow that counted was the right to the nuts hanging from kovs chin, hes the son of the right hand... Had him doing the russian twerk!
