Canelo made GGG miss all night?

    CAnelo landed at 33.5%
    GGG at 31%

The power punches were 114-110 in Canelo favor. THe jabs we know GGG won in a landslide. GGG pressed the action from pretty much round 3-4 on.

So it seems we can can say GGG also made Canelo miss all night. 2% difference in thrown/landed ratio. I guess GGG be pretty slick himself

show the power punch stat rates. Canelo landed more power punches at a 42% rate to GGG at 32%. Despite GGG throwing 200 more punches then canelo and 70 more power shots Canelo landed MORE uppercuts, more body shots, more power shots then GGG. Canelo landed more everything except jabs.

So yes Canelo made GGG miss all night a phuking double digit percent difference in power shots connected and out landed him in every non jab punch despite throwing 200 punches less. Look at the splits between jabs and power punches Canelo missed jabs he threw most of which were decoys and traps to set up the power shots that he landed 42% of.

      Jabs
      Canelo 23.6%
      GGG 29.9%

      Power shots
      Canelo 42%
      GGG 32%

2% difference. Sorry if you don't believe in jabs counting as landed punches but they do
Especially the ones that make you run backwards for 8 Rounds St.

of course you do you too ****** to understand what's going on in the ring. That's why you intentionally referenced the power shots landed but NOT the percentages because you know damn well the huge gap. Juan Manuel Marquez another great counter puncher has career low connect rates on his jabs like Canelo but very high on his power shots. setting up traps and counter punches with the jab. Like the one he did to KO Khan faking or throwing out a lazy jab not intending to land but to move a fighter then coming over the top with the power right. Canelo never lands high rates on his jabs because he's a counter puncher and it's his decoy punch to set up his counters.

Canelo Jabs/Power punch percents historically for both Canelo and GGG

Canelo career 23% lands on Jabs and 46% on power shots
GGG career 34% on Jabs and 46% on power shots

Which fighter lived up to their normal landing percents and which fighter saw massive drops?

            Sat night

            Jabs
Canelo 23.6% - actually slightly up
            GGG 29.9% - down 4%

            Power shots
            Canelo 42% - down 4%
            GGG 32% - down 14% - OUCH

So yes GGG missed a LOT

4 more power shots.. 4. Just 4. Even if compubox was 97% accurate, that would still be within the margin of error.

****** GGG threw more power punches a lot more and still was outlanded by 4 by a double digit landing clip. Outlanded GGG in 7 of the 12 rounds. And this ain't even counting the difference in clean shots compared to partially blocked shots which was lopsided in canelo's favor. Stop trying to spin it GGG was made to miss a lot the stats bare it out and anyone with 2 eyes could see GGG swinging and missing comically at times while canelo threw significantly less punches but landed more of EVERYTHING except jabs and at higher rates.
