Sergey "victor ortiz" Kovalev is done. He sounded like a bumbling idiot in the interview. Likely his piss poor broken english let him down. Still, once a quitter always a quitter. Even his trainer said he straight up quit. Ward completely broke him. He was on the verge of bending the knee if the ref hadn't jumped in and saved Kova.

Ward is a level above anyone that Kovalev could face

      and nobody has that style

a new camp..... a fresh outlook..... a new approach..... a couple of lower-level victims to get his mojo back..... good as new

      well, maybe not new

I still like Kovalev, I wish him the very best

well, to be fair, he won the first fight and was ahead in the 2nd, then he got lowballed.

why would he be mentally broken? he was winning the fight until one of the worst stoppages ive ever seen in my life. yeah that right hand wobbled him but fighters get wobbled all the time, it doesnt mean the ending is inevitable. look at klitschko v joshua.

That was a joke, but let's be real: he won that first fight. He wasn't going to win that fight unless he knocked Ward out. It definitely has to shake your confidence to know that no matter how good you fight, you're not going to win a decision.
... I don't even say that he won the first fight... But I can say that Ward didn't do enough to get a decision in that fight and, therefore, to get all those belts...

Vegas, the "Mecca of Boxing", what a joke.
spot on, Byrd shameful scoring in Canelo - GGG just goes to show how Vegas politics dictates who wins and who loses.
Kovalev was clearly stopped by a series of low blows from Ward, anyone who does not admit that knows nothing about boxing aka is a casual fan. look up the video again to convince yourself.
