This was a close fight and the vast majority of professional boxers, analysts and media had it a close verdict either/or/draw...how some of you have it as a near shutout in ANYONE's favor is beyond reasonable....
Come on, man..!! Seriously..OK?! You've got to know the difference between BOXING Intelligently and RUNNING. What De La Hoya did in the Trinidad fight...that was running. What Canelo did a couple of nights ago...that was boxing. Hit but don't get hit, remember?

If i remember correctly, GGG was wobbled in the final seconds of either the 9th round or the 10th round. Hopefully, it's on YouTube already so you can check it out yourself.

Nah, this wasn't close. This was COMPETITIVE. Canelo landed the cleaner, the more eye catching shots. GGG made it look closer that it really was with his aggression but was it really effective? Sorry, pal. The answer's NO.

I'm not a professional judge but I know boxing and I ain't Adalaide Byrd. I scored it 115-113 for Canelo. That's 7 rounds to 5. At the end of the day, I valued his effectiveness more than GGG's aggression/ activity.

Canelo performed better than Jacobs. I still don't understand the case for Jacobs winning.

I had it 115:113 for GGG but a draw is still acceptable. There is no way Canelo won the fight though. There has to be a rematch, even though Canelo might perform even better in the rematch so GGG has to bring something new, change his game pla. GGG has to land more body shots to take Canelo out late IMO. And he has to use more lateral movement.

neither of you muppets did enough to claim golovkins belts. You can fight each other and the winner can get another shot....... maybe!!!!!!

                    No you didn't.

You did a worst job than Canelo.

You were in 185 pounds and Golovking whooped your ass

Canelo was on the ropes and had a much better defense than you.

Canelo did better than Danny did against GGG and actually stayed on his feet. Danny should be credited for taking away the monster moniker from GGG. Canelo saw that it was possible for someone to survive 12 rounds against this monster.
