Would it be possible for Hopkins to score a KO/TKO vs. Tarver?

I just remembered that they have a 250,000 dollar bet. The bet is if Hopkins doenst make it to the 6th round Tarver wins. IMO I think it is a ridiculous bet for Tarver. He can bet that he will ko him but within 6 rounds? How much is Tarver even making for this fight?

I can see Tarver being gassed out after trying to ko hopkins early in the round. Hopkins may score KO/TKO if Tarver really tries to go for the ko early and often (somewhat like vivian harris vs maussa)

that would be nice to see but if R jones couldnt do it after 2 attempts its gonna be hard for hopkins.

if he connects right with tarver then yes but in all honestey hopkins hasent had a real knockout since trinidad the de la hoya knockout was a fluke so that doesent count as a real knockout hopkins best chance to knock tarver out is by letting tarver run after him then go for in around the 10th round

Honestly the only real way I see Hopkins winning this fight is by decision. Bernard just doesn't have the pop or the agression to get a guy like Tarver out of there. On the other hand Tarver has a tendency of tireing late in fights and i've never seen Hopkins in anything other than tip top shape, he usully wares guys out down the stretch with his fitness and ring smarts. So if Tarver is not as his best he's gonna get cooked in the late rounds and theres an outside chance he gets stopped.

i actually think he has a better chance because he looks MUCH stronger than jones jr did at this weight. i dont think u can argue that.

And hopkins has a good counter attack, which is good to have when Tarver starts comin straight at hopkins. I think hopkins can and will KO tarver. its unlikely, i no, but im willing to bet on .

When tarver gasses out, which he will, hopkins's superior conditioning will prevaile. he'll start landing strong and fast combos, and eventually forcing taver to the matt

what u mean a fluke? that was a legit KO on one of the best body shots i have ever seen. what so out of the ordinary about it. that was a prime hopkins we're talking about. one of the best middleweights EVER.
