Everytime i watch the fight it gets worse for GGG and better for Canelo!
So many lil nuances he did but I get GGG credit, he knew not to go to the body or he would be countered by that uppercut and knew he couldn't outbox Canelo when ramped up the stalking!
Sooo many people expected an execution and got the opposite and were utterly disappointed which is sad cuz Canelo considering his underdog status, size disadvantage, reach disadvantage, power disadvantage, and stamina he overachieved and still gets the no love!
No ones talking about how GGG failed to cut the ring off after all they hype of him being the best pressure fighter and the best at cutting the ring off yet Canelo who was supposed to have the slow feet out maneuvered him and made him look foolish several times in the fight!
No one scores defense, harder landed punches, and ring generalship in terms of doing what you want within your style whether it's fighting in whatever range of your choice!
Everyone nearly all just scores for more thrown punches, activity, pressure, pushing the pace, taking more punches and coming forward, punches that's least effective but still lands, and every jab for GGG!
That's total bias and no one's talking about the bias that Canelo is getting from everyone of those people who are his fellow fighters which is a shame! SMH

It's annoying when posters accuse people who scored it for GGG of being influenced by Lederman.
...stupid fools.... we saw the fight and called it as it went. Even the crowd who was largely pro Canelo.. seem to think GGG won after the fight.

You still flabbergasted that you're pick of Nelo beating GGG easy was utter sht and tries too hard to gave Nelo work(one minute per round) credit.
GGG not only outthrew Nelo but he outlanded him.
But Nelo won the rounds based on his shoulder roll? LOL
People talk about GGG missing, but GGG did slip/block a lot of punches.
MAYBE, and I say, maybe, if JMM, Crawford, Lewis, Jack, Donnaire, Pacquiao, Garcia (I won't bring up Chavez jr and paulie) had GGG winning,
MAYBE, it's because GGG finally won or are you gonna stay in denial and think your the only one holding the truth?
I don't know what type of bias (yeah I'm calling you out on that word) Lewis, Jack, Crawford, JMM, Garcia...have when it comes to triple.

If you only score 30 seconds out of a 3 minute round I can see why you would think Canelo won.
Sergio Martinez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Badou, Shane, Conlan etc...had it for GGG, most well known boxers scored it for GGG. Is this all just a conspiracy by these boxers to take down Canelo? Ask yourself, who's more emotionally invested in the outcome of the fight, them or you?

Confirmation bias, also called confirmatory bias or myside bias,[Note 1] is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses.[1] It is a type of cognitive bias and a systematic error of inductive reasoning. People display this bias when they gather or remember information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way. The effect is stronger for emotionally charged issues and for deeply entrenched beliefs.
People also tend to interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing position. Biased search, interpretation and memory have been invoked to explain attitude polarization (when a disagreement becomes more extreme even though the different parties are exposed to the same evidence), belief perseverance (when beliefs persist after the evidence for them is shown to be false), the irrational primacy effect (a greater reliance on information encountered early in a series) and illusory correlation (when people falsely perceive an association between two events or situations).
A series of psychological experiments in the 1960s suggested that people are biased toward confirming their existing beliefs. Later work re-interpreted these results as a tendency to test ideas in a one-sided way, focusing on one possibility and ignoring alternatives. In certain situations, this tendency can bias people's conclusions. Explanations for the observed biases include wishful thinking and the limited human capacity to process information. Another explanation is that people show confirmation bias because they are weighing up the costs of being wrong, rather than investigating in a neutral, scientific way.
Confirmation biases contribute to overconfidence in personal beliefs and can maintain or strengthen beliefs in the face of contrary evidence. Poor decisions due to these biases have been found in political and organizational contexts.[2][3]
Course, it ain't just you man, everybody does that - it's just part of the way we're wired. But if you notice your opinion becoming increasingly one sided (as you say you do) that's probably why. Internet forums are an excellent place for studying the phenomenon.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 09-20-2017, 03:19 AM.

Kevin Kelley too! I thought these guys knew boxing, that the heck is going on?!?! Better and more clean punches by Canelo to both the head and the body, better defense, great ring generalship (moved and stayed his ground whenever he wanted to). GGG looked like Ruslan Provodnikov out there, same goofy looking mfker.
Those boxers can differentiate 'effectiveness' from 'flashiness' or 'flamboyancy'.
