Why do HBO and Showtime have an unoffical socrecard?

There are 3 judges that judge the fight and they actually follow the scoring criteria:

    Clean punches
    Ring Generalship
    Defense
    Effective Aggression

Meanwhile all Harold can judge is who is pressing forward.

Harold Ledderman is no better than all of those incompetent and corrupt judges so why should he influence the narrative of the fight. He's got his own bias and the fighters he likes, he can't call a fight objectively. No one person can always call a fight objectively, that's why there are 3 in the pros and 5 judges in the amateurs. Besides, Harold is senile.

Compubox is another thing that needs to be abolished ASAP.

Clean punching, how many and how hard is how I score fights. Ring generalship, defense and effective aggression don't mean a thing unless they help you land more and better punches which does mean something. Lederman is a professional judge and a good one. I am interested in his scorecard and I believe it to be neutral unlike the 118 to 110 Canelo we just got. Farhood is a boxing historian and expert. I am interested in his scorecard.

I think they are just trying to share info & give themselves something else to talk besides the bs they mostly talk about which is propaganda about whoever they have decided to root for in this fight. I mean thats HBO's thing anyway. I think Showtime generally talks about the fight itself much more often.

I'm pro a unofficial scorer for that reason although yea it'd be nice if they got someone more relevant or even shuffled the deck between a few guys.

I'm also pro compubox cuz I think boxing is one of the least stat-ed up sports & the more you stat up your sport the more random bs facts you can put out there to get sports dorks interested or talking about your sport.

Right now all boxing dorks talk about is all time great & pound for pound sci fi fantasy bullsh^t. It'd be better if we could talk about the +/- top ten which is something real + factually based & not fantasyland child-like bs. But yea I can't argue that compubox is 100% on point cuz its clearly not, but I think if they put microchips in the gloves they could likely get more accurate numbers + a force per sq inch measurement on the strength of punches that would be another interesting stat they could talk about. I mean you could really hype a young prospect if he was KOing mfers impressively while also getting Joshua level power numbers on his punches.

Boxing really needs to enter the present with the things they could do if someone in the industry actually applied themselves & tried to make boxing as interesting to as many people & interesting to new people with some new tactics.
