Who made this kid the next coming of the golden child? Why does he deserve to be treated better than anyone else he's fighting? It's a joke and everyone sees it plain as day
This is were I'm at too. I actually respect the talent that Canelo has in the ring. The guy showed a solid chin and improved defense. Time will tell if he can crack at 160. But it's hard to ignore that he stretched the timetable out way too long on golovkin and that there is now a full blown pattern of him getting help on the cards.

Fans today are entitled. They actually don't think that these fighters are real with families. I think with the advent of MMA it's gotten worse because it's a meat grinder and the spill over we get are casuals who think they're hardcore, but they'd been watching boxing for 5 years. They have hard comments but no investments in learning and looking back to the history of the sport.

Also with social media this culture is now not later, impatient, jealous, and lazy. Back in the day not even 10 years ago there were critics but with twitter and FB people just bash because it's trendy. The majority of people complaining are just down right a.ssy peps, it's more to do with their state of mind and place they see themselves than these fighters. "U OWE ME SOMETHING MY LIFE IS ****!" Vibe.

Thats the cross that all the big draws have to bear in boxing usually. You are on the stage so much people will either love you for no virtually no reason other than you being on the stage & some people will hate you for virtually any reason to. Its gots its pros & cons like most things. Its not all bad. He's getting paid like no one else in boxing right now.

Oh please, he lost the fight and got a gift. Golovkin has been bashed far more on this site after the fight and he was actually the one that was robbed.

You guys want to baby Canelo but that time is over, he and fans need to take their L's and move on. Stop making excuses for him and trying to make the results of the fight seem fair.

he had nothing to do with the score cards, true, but its what he had to say at the end that made the crowd reacted that way. it was a pro canelo crowd too so you cant use the excuse that people dont like him! he was the #1 draw at the moment before going into this fight. but he didnt own up to the lost and tried to play it off as a win but the eyes dont lie. that's why he got boo'd at.

She ducked him for 2 years. Then she tries to act like she is some legit MW champ while she's been fighting at 155. Then she gets winded, realizes that GGG just laughs every time she lands something, so she runs for her life for like 6 rounds. GGG took her will to win, took away her Mexican warrior spirit, leaving just the shell of a scurred lil biatch.

I didn't appreciate the outcome, neither did the fans in the arena. They booed the scared lil gurl and cheered the real Mexican warrior, GGG!!!

The majority had Canelo beating Lara although it was like a 55/45 split.

60% of the boxing public had Golovkin beating Jacobs.

85% of the boxing public had Golovkin beating Canelo.
