If Wilder manages to beat Ortiz, I am his fan and one of his biggest critics for fighting mediocre fighters. I have to just rate him next to biblical Joshua and both have to fight to determine the heavyweight supremacy.

But him fighting those mediocre fighters isn't even his fault. A large number of those fighters were his mandatories. Blame the WBC for that. Wilder's just defending that belt. Also, remember, he was all set to face Povetkin, which would've been a real test. Not Wilder's fault Povetkin got popped for PEDs and that the fight fell through. All Wilder could do was find someone on short notice, and he found Arreola.
