Same as what exactly the decision of Pacquiao vs horn. the difference is that pacquiao lost by majority decision while GGG vs. alvarez is a draw. I ask bob what the judges of pacquiao vs horn is watching?

Arum has been on an "honesty" streak lately. He admitted Pacquiao struggled against Horn and blasted his corner
He is spot on about Adelaide Byrd, who shouldnt have been allowed to judge such a high profile fight.
And he is right against on the score!
Any intelligent, UNBIASED boxing fan would score the fight 8 rounds to 4 for GGG.

Alvarez was moving ggg all over the ring with impeccable footwork, ggg was attacking nonstop because canelo was controlling him completely by making him fear getting countered,it was textbook how to control opponent fighting backwards. Canelo would even rest on the ropes to lure ggg in & ggg would get shook & backup after getting countered. Canelo fought like he always fights but with full use of his footwork & smarter.
Its ggg who fought like an entirely different fighter,he abandoned the body early on ffs despite being claimed to have better body work than canelo.
Ggg was swinging wildly with horrible accuracy(500 punches missed). Ggg didn't even hit canelo in the body at all basically, but canelo blasted his tum tum with counter hooks throughout & uppercuts,he marked up gggs face way worse too. Canelos punches were much more cleanly landed,he won several rds with great Defense too, when u make opponents miss wildly & counter them successfully that earns points w judges(as per rules),as does just making them miss repeatedly then backup to regroup. Ggg got outboxed & will probably lose easier in rematch as he was lucky af canelo took a break in middle rds, though thats why canelo won imo because he did the same thing Leonard would've done,he fought smart,he knew hed give up a few rds regardless but he knew as long as he won 7 rds he likely wins or draws & I was at the fight & I have rewatched it twice since.
It was a close fight that lived up to the hype & just as before peeps had different opinions, afterwards some say each guy won(I had nelo by 7-5 rds 1-3,8,10-12(4,7 were swing rds).
Now we're getting Wilder vs Ortiz,& loma vs the jackal so this Yr will be one of the best in ages 4 Boxing,I can't get angry about a great fight being a tie unlike gggroupies have been acting as promised.
Next yr we hopefully get the rematch then hopefully unification vs saunders. Hopefully we get Ward vs Stevenson too.Last edited by kushking; 09-20-2017, 03:52 PM.

Yeah GGG threw more punches and missed more then Canelo but he also landed more aswell. I repeat they both landed at a similar percentage so stop with that nonsense!
