The canelo hate is strong my goodness.

Everyone knows damn well canelo is bigger that aj yet the hate is either making them lie or blinded.

No one in the states even knows joshua ***** they barely knew who klutcko was.

And we all know to be big you gotta be big in the states.
    Plain and simple.

AJ does more PPV's than Canelo in a much smaller country. He can also sell 80,000 capacity stadiums out against people like Pulev.

Nobody outside of Mexico and some Americans care about Canelo.

The truth is, both are only really stars in the countries they're based or fighting. Neither are global sporting stars. Boxing just isn't a mainstream sport worldwide and it's basically a niche sport in most countries apart from a few obvious ones.

Canelo's popularity has peaked, Joshua can only get bigger, far more markets for Joshua to break into

The hate only makes canelo more popular.

You guys are doing a helluva job.

            Bottom line

No one knows or gives a damn about aj in the states.

Everyone in the states knows canelo.

And the states is where it matters.

20 dollar ppvs vs 80 dollar ppvs. Canelo could of filled up any football stadium his last 2 fights instead he fights in boy boy Vegas venue where they charge insane ticket prices for comparison Joshua last fight was his largest live gate and did 7m off 80K ticket stadium. Canelo/GGG just did 30m live gate off 20K ticket arena. These 2 ain't in the same league. Joshua selling dirt cheap tickets in a stadium mean nothing selling ppvs that 15-20 bucks? How many people out there stayed up all late at night to watch canelo fight? Joshua last fight aired mid day in the US and drew just 600k live viewers. More people know and care about canelo in the UK then know or care about joshua in the US.

Joshua selling dirt cheap tickets? The Canelo tickets for his outdoor fights v Smith and Kirkland were ridiculously cheap, they could barely give them away.

Also, nobody cares about Canelo here, people cared about Canelo v GGG a bit and even that was just hardcore fans. Nobody was talking about it and it got very little coverage before the fight. Nobody was staying up to watch Canelo v Smith or Canelo v Khan either. Even Sky doesn't bother bidding to get Canelo's fights, they let BoxNation have them, which nobody really watches.

And how much did joshua ticket sales go for the bums he fought until recently? Fights that didn't even air in the us or did 100k viewers? I compared joshua biggest fights to canelo biggest fights. Who considers smith or Kirkland a big canelo fight but you want to compare that to joshuas big fights? Canelo big fights are GGG, Chavez, Cotto, Floyd. Go look at the money and revenue all drew then look at what joshua biggest fight do then laugh at yourself. Hell even his fight with khan drew more revenue off ppvs and live gate then any joshua fight even his fight with klitscho. If you want to compare the money his low level fights with smith and Kirkland made to low level fights with joshua that didn't draw ppvs didn't even air in the us or did air and only drew 100k on US TV we can do that. But the smith fight drew over 5m live gate off 50K seats sold. To see a brit nobody knew or cared about while joshua career high live gate in a 80M seats sold was 7m against a hall of fame klitschko. Don't talk to me about cheap tickets you idiot. That was canelo cheapest ticket fight in the last 5 fights. All the rest were in Vegas with ticket prices 15X what joshua ticket prices are lol

No matter how you spin it they aren't in the same level. Joshua biggest fight and hardly anyone in the US watched. How many stayed up to watch canelo vs GGG, Chavez, khan, cotto, Floyd etc.

People watched Canelo v GGG and Floyd because of the event and matchup as a whole. Nobody cared about Canelo v Khan, Chavez or Cotto at all in the UK, they went completely under the radar.

Anyway Joshua's stadium fights to some cheap tickets at £40. Canelo's stadium fights do tickets at $40, which is cheaper than £40. Actually Canelo v Kirkland had some ticket prices at $10 lol. You would barely be able to buy a beer at a Joshua fight for $10.

Joshua's fights in indoor venues like the o2 will be similar to an indoor Canelo fight too.

Anyway i'm no Joshua fan. The point i was making was that neither are global stars. They're just stars in the countries they're from or fighting in and that's about it.
