Guess it's not an allowed site, but it's at boxin_news24

There's that one too
That's fine, but the punches landed was way off, as Robbie has a thread already showing missed punches counted in a pathetic way... you and I know compubox is not a reliable system

Is this the hill you want to die on?Comment

I realize you weren't addressing me but my point is simple, and it's being made complicated.
People can believe whatever they want, but the fight was a draw, it will forever be a draw. In 1 year it weill be a draw, in 100 years, it will be a draw.
The face thing is simply because people will say "this guy won/lost...look at their faces". That's when it fits THEIR own agenda, whern it doesn't? Well then it's "bu bu but look at the punch stats doe" if not that it's "but he landed the better punches".
The facts are the judges have NO access to the flawed punch stats from compubox for a reason. That reason is because punch stats don't tell the whole story. There are several criteria, and the judges must go off of CLEAN EFFECTIVE punching. Not some ****** scoring system thast counts a bunch of missed shots.Comment

Yes, Algieri technically lost the fight against Ruslan Provodnikov even though Algieri won officially on the scorecards. It's called a ROBERRY!Comment

Again, you're continuously showing me visible facial damage when both guys were marked up. That is not comparable to Golovkin vs Jacobs because Golovkin was barely marked up at all in that fight whilst in the Canelo vs Golovkin fight, both guys were marked up. Try again! Furthermore, visible facial damage is one out of 4 or 5 other methods that can be used to determine punch effectiveness. So that ALONE doesn't indicate the winner of a bout.Seriously, if you want to believe this

Also, I didn't use compubox stats to base my conclusions. So why are you mentioning it for? Golovkin still landed more EFFECTIVE punches in total, despite also missing more. Thus, he won because the main criteria in which a bout is judged by when it goes to the scorecards is 'effective punches' landed. Not who made who miss more. That's a secondary criteria.Comment
