HBO is the worst! I unsubscribed after Cuadras vs Gonzalez. That was the worst commentating I ever heard! I honestly didnt even want to order this fight because it was HBO ppv, I was trying to pay for Boxnation but it said I was out of the range or something.

Sh^t there were 2 other "Byrd's" that same day lol. One in the UK, one of the undercard. But I think the fact there will be future Byrd's is the problem.

I'm one of the cats saying the subjectiveness with the scoring IS the problem. I think thats why Bobby B was trying to blow off Byrd's scorecard at the post fight presser & then a couple days later pulled her when he seen people were more pissed off then he suspected originally. Cuz ANY SCORE can make sense with boxing rules. And then when people get pissed off enough then we can do these lil half measures to band aid things up for the moment while the real problem lingers cuz boxing is scared to change anything these days even if its to fix a problem.

Let me just say that Teddy Atlas is just as much of a dumbass as Adelaide Byrd... he can yell at her scorecard all he wants but he scored it 118-110 for Golovkin which is ****ing ridiculous aswell. Teddy is beginning to look like a moron

I scored the ward-kovalev fight 114-113 for kovalev

          This fight i scored 114-114

The amount of whining these fights got is awful, there is literary nothing crazy about the result apart from 1 scorecard. Not everyone sees the round the same as you... bunch of sheep following other dudes opinions

Cuadras-Gonzalez was actually alot like Canelo-Golovkin with cuadras being canelo and Gonzalez the mini version of golovkin. I thought Cuadras even edged it out but Lederman had it wide for Gonzalez, just like he did for GGG

you are probably right ,but that means that we need to change scoring system to make it not subjective which pretty hard ,i have no ideas now.

Both fights were ridiculously close and most cards reflected that. I think if Byrd's card was 115-113 for Canelo, people would just be reflecting on how great of a fight it was, rather than the incompetence (or corruption) of one judge

Elite boxers said Ward won the first one. What elite level boxers had Canelo winning this one?

Ward adjusts. Figures things out. Canelo looks cute.

And that's what I keep telling you guys. Canelo is no Andre Ward.

Nobody wants to go there though. If you wanna get rid of euro bums look to Ward. Canelo might let you down. Ward beat elite level guys in their prime and cleanly. Canelo's best win is Austin Trout.
