Floyd weighs approximately 150 pounds on fight night. About the same as big super lightweights (135 pounders) and about the average size of a junior welterweight (140 pounds)A myth that you people keep spewing so that Floyd's accomplishment seems better than it actually is.
Was Floyd not prime when he fought Judah? Was Floyd not prime when he KO'ed ricky? Was Floyd not priem when he fought Oscar Dela Hoya?
Stop making a fact out of a myth in order to make Floyd greater than one would consider.
TRUE WELTERWEIGHTS are/were guys like Keith Thurman, Errol Spence, Paul Williams,Tito Trinidad, Shane Mosley,Kell Brook, Andre Berto, Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto etc... guys who have to/had to cut anywhere from 10-20 pounds to make 147..guys who in the ring weigh 160+ pounds... guys who when not in training are 175 pound guys. Guys who are HUGE compared to Floyd.
Floyd gave up 10-15 pounds in the majority of his fights & still dominated. Floyd, if he wanted to could easily dehydrate 10 pounds and compete and 140... but he chose 147 as that’s where the biggest fights were. That’s the actions of a real champion.
You realize Terrence Crawford, who fights at 140 is 10 pounds heavier than Floyd come fight night right?
So no, Floyd is not a true welterweight.Last edited by N!Ck F.; 09-20-2017, 02:59 PM.Comment

Just like the judges were right about their points on you being less than a man, right?
You have no response to the merits of my posts, just like you had no response in the dome. That's why I keep murdering your zombie ass and other posters feel sorry for you

What a crock!!!You are full of shlt. PWill was calling out Pac hard. You just gonna duck and deflect from the link I posted huh?
You aren't fooling anybody. Are gonna beg for a draw again now???
You're being a hypocrite. No one was calling for the Pac fight so Pac didn't have to fight PWill? Oh yea? People were calling for the Pac/PWill fight just as much as they were calling for the Mayweahter/PWill fight (both being not very much). So don't try to pass off that bullshlt. Then you try to justify your bullshlt by saying it should have happened with one because they had the same manager, but not the other. LMAO. Check it out:
2007: Floyd beats De La Hoya
2 Months later: PWill beats Margarito (That's when he first becomes noteworthy)
Floyd's next fight: Ricky Hatton
2 months later: PWill's next fight? Loss to Carlos Quintana
So when the **** was this fight to be made, huh? You're a piece of shlt. Check this out!
From June 2008 til May 2010, PWill was on a 6 fight win streak.
He and Pacquiao both want to make a fight for November 2010
Pacquiao chooses Bumgarito who was 1 fights from being annihilated by Mosley and being banned for a year because he was fighting with Bricks in his gloves. At a catchweight where PWill was willing to meet at 147.
So who was ducking, bltch????
And of course, tell that PWill went on record saying Floyd didn't duck him, but you claimed to know what he was thinking and said he was lying. Lmaoooo. I'm gonna keep kicking your ass bltch, because all of my info is verified fact and all you have is speculation from your own fantasies.
You conveniently forgot to say this:
Ricky Hatton at 147?
Floyd fought Hatton who looked bad enough during his 1 fight at 147 that he went back down to 140 BUT of course, Floyd calls him back to 147.
Juan Marquez at 147?
BUT
There were loads of qualified 147lbs and 154lbs fighters to chose from instead of getting someone who fights at 140 or even lower in Marquez and remember that there were other opportunities too fight Williams as well.
Williams said it.
It was an EASY fight to make BUT your sorry A$$ excuses makes it sound like an impossible task even though they both were utilizing Al Haymon!!!
Yes, Manny chose the 5'11" Margarito who Floyd DUCKED
and who was also under Top Rank. Just like Williams and Floyd should have gotten the fight done with Al Haymon!
