which fights u talking about? just wondering.
winky vargas mostly. But i enjoyed the mosley and trinidad fights. But the vargas fight was amazing. One of my top 20 favorite fights for some reason. just a great match up.

some great defensive work by winky and some great offensive work from vargas.

every punch meant something and every punch worried me. It looked like every punch thrown had a ton of effort put behind it and all the hooks could have taken the other guy out.

Im a boxing fan who not only likes action, but i also enjoy a good techincal match up. When two great defenses go at each other, so every jab is interesting to watch. u know?

i really DO understand how it could bore a lot of huge fight fans, but idk. i like it a lot. which is why i like winky wright.

winky is a figheter you have to watch. especially if your trying to get involved in boxing in anyway.

the way he beat some great fighters with no real problem was great.

This has obviously become the battle of two fighters that are percieved as Under/Over rated both ways.

I think Taylor is a bit Overrated myself...and his only two real victories weren't very decisive. In fact, I scored the first fight with Hopkins 115-113 in favor of Hopkins, and had the second fight scored a draw.

I suppose you could look at it like....he did give Hopkins trouble and he did win decisions that could be contested...but outside of that, he's really done nothing.

A victory over a Joppy that only showed up for a paycheck, and a Raul Marquez that was about 75 years old.

All Winky Wright has done lately though is beat a taylor-made opponent (Trinidad), an exhausted ex-cream and clear user (Mosley), and looked silly against a guy with little to no boxing skill (Soliman).

You make a good point about Taylor being overrated, but on average boxing fans tend to be a lot harder on him than they are on Wright, I find.
