Statistically this was GGG worst offense night I can find, definitely since he's been on the national stage.
        Jabs landed 25% against Murray.

        Here are some Canelo stats:

        All of these are higher.

So let me guess this straight, in your eyes and the few haters here Canelo won? So aim assuming the majority of the pro boxers, sports analyst, shot the world for that know nothing of boxing because they had it in favor of GGG. Yeah I can really tell who to listen to and not on these forums.

stealthradon OK so it's his second lowest Jab connect rate. GGG set numerous career lows in offensive ineffectiveness and many just about career lows. Canelo landed slightly higher power connect rates against khan mainly because his weak defense but nothing drastic.
Canelo fight with chavez, cotto virtually the same connect rates across the board nothing statistically unusal.

Look at the Murray stats you provided it illustrates my point. While he was slightly lower percent landing the Jab he literally doubled up Murray in power shots landed 220 at 42%. Against canelo not only did he have a low connect rate in jabs, missing a career high amount, a career low in body shots landed he didn't make up for all this by dominating power shots instead he had one of his worst nights landing any non jab punches. He was out landed by canelo in power shots the smaller guy, landing only half as many power shots compared to murrary fight and connect rate was huge in canelo favor. A bigger gap in power connect rate for canelo then GGG had over murrary and that's a fight GGG dominated. It again shows just how bad his offensive production was historically and that was because canelo defense made him look silly.

It's what I've been saying GGG threw so many weak jab, some just to measure distance and set up other punch that were probably being counted

Still I'm sure the punch count would be closer than people think but Canelo did land more better punches

As I've said, the people who think Canelo won are the same people who weren't going to give Golovkin credit. You can see it in their post history.

A knock down is 1 point. Canelo and Ward both won the fight (in my eyes) 7 rounds to 5.

                    7-5 = 115-113 - 1 point for a knockdown = 114-113. Doesn't change the outcome.
