    Hopkins next fights

Sounds like Sturm Jan 20 on HBO for his 20th title defense, than Trinidad in the spring.Sturm deserves it as well as Trinidad.Hope it comes to be true.

Hop is, inspite of his negotiating snafus in mega deals, one clever dude when picking his foes, which is not to say he ever ducked anybody. This is to merely say, that with his eye on history ("legacy", he calls it), he'll, I guess, take on a relatively easy one for his 20th successful defense, to join only three others in that exclusive heroe's pantheon, topped by Joe Louis who had 25. Hop is not one to squander this chance in a million-- maybe chance in a gazillion. Would anyone? After that, I think, he'll go after the largest purses to fatten his already substantial retirement kitty even more. He'll face anyone who can help bring in the crowd, be it Tarver, Tito...anybody. Now, would you blame?

But then, he also said, he'll have six more fights. Does that mean he has his eyes on beating JLouis' record? For that, he'll have to stay at middleweight. He can have a meeting with
Trinidad again. But, if Tarver refuses to go down to that weight for all the tea in China, then that fight could never be made. Money or legacy, THAT CAN BE THE QUESTION for Hamlet Hop.

B-hop will hurt STurm, DLH seem to have rock'd sturm somewhat, and his is an ex 130lbs fighter

I think Sturm has a good chance of keeping B-Hop away from him with his jab. Bernard will probably get on the inside and try and fight dirty, but, until he does, I see Sturm winning the first four rounds just like DLH did against Nard. Speed is the ultimate weapon in the ring and Hopkins is losing his while Sturm in relatively quick. I say Nard wins a close, but controvercial, decision.

I think Hopkins would win a convincing decision but would have trouble in the early rounds. That jab of Sturm has the potential to bother anyone.

ur crazy dlh never hurt sturm..his denfence kept dlh away and when dlh had shot at the body (he could knock him down..tito would have)..so yeah..i would love for this kid to beat hopkins..but it seems unlikely...anyway..sturm may not have a punch..but has great boxing abilities and movement ..dont count him out..its great he gets his shot..i hope its not a ppv tho..that would suck...

i wonder if tito will fight a real MW and not a good welter (that took everything he brought until later rounds...mayo a welterweight went what was it 8-9 rounds with maybe one of the best mW ever)..so i dont give tito credit..but a lot of respect for mayo..tito now need to fight J. taylor or winky to prove he's ready for a nard rematch...and all that money he will get..cuz he was not the exciting one or who made the mayo/tito fight exciting
