Yea Canelo was green. But Floyd was fking 37yrs old and 150lbs. Canelo was 165lbs and 22yrs old. I felt Floyd would win, but I didnt think Floyd was going to walk him down without getting touched. That fight was amazing.

One minute Floyd was on the ropes. Next, he was walking around the ring calmly as Canelo followed. Then Floyd was flatfooted in the pocket. He did EVERYTHING.

2million people saw it live, and had no clue boxing could be executed on that level. But you know what they said!? "Floyd is just fighting another bum"

Explain these posts from you which were written a year BEFORE Floyd fought Canelo.

Floyd in the big scheme, or even little scheme of things has done nothing since his comeback.

He takes no risks now whatsoever. SMM was considered a risk as SSM was coming off of a win over Margarito, but ignoring the fact that SSM was last generations breed of fighters and an old man.
Always feasting on last generations fighters coming to the end of their careers.

He wont fight todays top fighters who have made a reputation for being great today. Ortiz wasnt great, he just sprung up from nowhere. Why dont he fight Sergio, hes been around a good few years and is widely accepted as being very good.? Canelo would be a good win for him as long as he dont suck punch him when Canelo starts getting the better of him, Garcia would be a good warm up for him as he beat khan.
There are fights out there, but Floyd takes so long to get any thing arranged the moment passes.

Floyd will run from canelo and he'll never get a floyd fight. As floyd will say you have to beat this guy and that guy and look good before you can qualify to fight me.

FLoyd dont fight, therefore dont lose. If floyd did fight, he would lose, then Canelo could say "no, Floyd you arent good enough to fight me, beat some decent people before coming back to me"

On the same token, Floyd hasnt fought that many really good fighters so that possibly Canelo would be just about the best fighter Floyd has fought. Canelo certainly would put up as good a fight as anyone floyd has fougth. Sergio would be the best fighter Floyd has fought as well and he dont want it.
