IMO, Gennady would take it wider. He was very nervious the first 3 rounds. He would go to work much earlier this time and outwork Canelo to 9-3 or 8-4 UD.

Canelo the more skilled fighter can improve in lots of areas. Another training camp adapting to the weight will make a big difference.

The only way Canelo can beat GGG on a rematch is to move and box. Unless he gets on EPO, he will not be able to keep up with the pace. GGG knows he can't be hurt now and I think he will apply pressure early. If this happens, Canelo could tire earlier. The other scenario is Canelo gets brave and stands toe to toe which we all know how that could end up.

Well, my scorecard already filled out for the return bout. All we need it just one more judge to see it the correct way so we can reward the young stallion the win he deserves.

I think Canelo wins, provided he's in the proper condition.
He gassed by the 5th or 6th round of this fight. When he punched, he was effective, but his attack was inconsistent in the middle to latter portion of the fight. I scored it even.

GGG had Canelo figured out by the third round. He didn't have anything for him when they sparred a few years ago and he saw that things were pretty much the same. GGG saw the openings to the body and chose not to go there, but he won't make that mistake again. Canelo will suffer broken ribs the next go round and GGG will get a very decisive TKO victory and take the decision out of the judges hands this time. You know he's pissed off with that judge and he will punish Canelo for it too. I can't wait.

None of these 2 have had rematches so don't know how they will do.
But often is the case that boxers who got favourable undeserved decisions in first fight do well in rematch. Fighters who got hard done by feel aggrieved and can't summon big effort in rematch as they fear they could be hard done by again its out of their control and feel deflated is Castillo v Floyd.
But having said that PAC did OK in rematch with bradlkey

Depends how far out it is. Canelo takes a tune up in May and waits til Sept that's another year on GGG. Canelo has had stamina issues his whole career and it's not going to suddenly magically get better, so it's all dependent on how much GGG slows down. I doubt he'd slow down enough though and I'd still pick GGG.

he knows getting a decision in vegas vs canelo is nearly impossible, so he'd have to go for a KO.
