Tough one. It's not like GGG fights the way Hatton did when Tszyu was at the end of his days. Tszyu, I think was the more polished fighter and really was excellent at a distance and had the better timing of the two men. I feel overall GGG is perhaps the better overall fighter, but not sure the style match favors him here. It's really a tossup.Comment

he timed Judah's head movement. Judah was making big defensive head movements and pulling back across the center line, which led to the KO. trying to slip outside both 1-2 shots is a recipe for disaster.Comment

floyd has good timing too.
like i said, never caught up to judah early. old kostya did.Comment

well tszyu applied a lot more pressure than Floyd did. zab was reckless moving his head like that against a guy with a long right hand who was applying pressure...it was a matter of time before he got caught. Imo it was more down to tszyu's great timing and forward pressure than any spectacular handspeed. not saying he's slow or anything thoComment

In their prime? That's the key factor in my mind.
GGG has been a steady performer throughout his career and has only showed signs lately that he's slowing down, but Tszyu from 2000 to 2004 was a baddass MoFo.
Similar styles but I think Kostya burned a little brighter for a few years. If they fought when he was on fire I think GGG would have lost by stoppage.Comment

I think Tszyu was more square. But they are close.Won a nice chunk on Plillups fight.Knew his VERY GOOD st8 right and good chin would be worse style for him.Reason why I thought Jacobs would give GGG hell. You could see that in brook fight.Jacobs did not have mentality to go for it but just the thought of it kept GGG from being too aggressive.Even Jacobs trainer said it in the corner"he is already scarred of right and you aint even hit him yet"Still thought GGG just shaded fight.Comment
of course you do.
