    Who is Hatton fighting next?

i heard someone saying how he is gonna fight the guy that is mandatory for keeping the belt. is this already 100%, because the last i heard was hatton looking for the winner of castillo vs carrales 3.

And who is this madatory guy because i heard he was a nobody. anyone know if he is a southpaw or has anyone seen him fight and can describe his style.

Oktay Urkal, he is decent, he is 36 though. He's dominated Magee in the only fight of his that I have seen, and he has been in with Tszyu and Harris as well apparently. Hatton should knock him out.

Held the European title on a few occasions, been beaten whenever he's stepped up to challenge for an alphabet title. Should provide a decent but not too dangerous workout for Hatton while he makes those final few adjustments into the new weightclass. Also Urkal has only been at that weight for a year, winning the EBU title, and making once defense, against two relative unknowns, and fighting a guy with a record of 2-4-1(Jeez), I doubt Hatton will have as much trouble against him as he did with the natural Welter, Luis Collazo.

i've seen about ten of his fights........he was a gun and probably one of the best lt welters not to become champ!.....however he is a shot man now as he went down twice vs harris and even went down against nesterenko!....

he is 36 and unfortuntately for him, nowhere near his top form.........i'm actually quite surprised his promoters are pushing for this fight...he'd probably out tag hatton for a few rounds and then hatton would catch up!...

i would predict an easy win for hatton on this one!

ps...if its in germany, it could be a bit different

We can see whether the ****ty Collazo performance was a one off or whether the new Hatton with his clinching style is gonna stay.

If Hatton fights his mandatory like a true champion he will distingusih himself from Tarver who likes to duck his mandatories.
