JCC's younger son goes Pro and scores a 2nd round TKO!

I just read Omar "Terremoto" Chavez a kid that many have been impressed with in his amateur career just went professional. He is Julio Cesar Chavez younger son and he is just 16 years old. And has a long way to go still.

Apparently the fight was at lightweight against an opponent from Sinaloa who was 5-1.

Omar won by stoppage in the second round in a fight scheduled for 4 rounds and is anxious to do his second professional bout.

here is a picture of Omar:

Good for him. DO you know what kind of style he uses? I wish him the best of luck.

Best of luck to him.Wish I was in his spot definetly.I'd do anything to get in the ring right now.I hope his defense is better than his big brothers, who by the time is done with tune-ups he'll have brain damage from walking through all of those punches.

He has a fan friendly style, and that won't change. He's a pretty tough kid also, and I like watching him fight (Jr). I think he easily has the potential to be one of the most exciting fighters around given the right opponents and a chance.

He's just beating these guys up to no end now. He'll step up the competition and I think be in a thrilling affair.

That's the type of person he is, because he's like his dad.

he may fight similar to his dad but Sr. had tons better defence.

i've been saying this for a long time. Jr. takes too many shots willingly that he doesn't have to take, its a shame his dad doesn't get involved in teach him the tricks he used in his prime.
