    Bad style match up.

    Lara easy ud.
Yeah I would definitely move him away for Lara. After seeing GGG for 4 years straight now I say don't fight Lara.

      To answer your question bro.

      1. Style wise Lara's legs can trouble GGG but GGG cut off well the ring and he would corner Lara, Lara's defense isn't that good and he would get hit clean (more than Nelo).

      2. Canelo always went hell to make 154 (it's a fact since dude had to cut 20 pounds for the weigh in wich is a crazy stuff and it obviosuly weakens you) and seems to be stronger and sharper at 160.
I'm not sure about Lara, he would probably be not a strong fighter at 160.

So mY answer is a close rounds with a GGG KO around the 9th.

          GGG body bag Lara.

GGG would cut off the ring well unlike Canelo and corner Lara.

Lara doesn't really have the power, nor defense to beat GGG when they will exchange in the ropes.

So you expect GGG to do worse than Vanes?

At 160 pounds, Golovkin is the clear favorite. There is a reason why Erislandy Lara never actually moved up to 160 pounds to challenge Gennady Golovkin. Nor did he even try to become a mandatory challenger to actually force Golovkin to fight him. Instead, he was bluffing most of the time without being too serious about the actual fight.

as far the fight is concerned stylistically, Erislandy Lara lacks punching power and that's a HUGE problem for him. If someone can't force Golovkin to at least respect their power, they don't stand much of a chance. The reason why Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs did as well as they did was because they managed to force Golovkin to respect their power. Erislandy Lara, I doubt he could do the same.

I personally see this fight going similar to Golovkin vs Willie Monroe. Golovkin will just stalk Lara down, might even take a few punches to land a harder punch or two of his own and then stop Lara. Erislandy Lara is more comaprable to Willie Monroe than to Canelo Alvarez or Daniel Jacobs (due to his punching power).

They should get him in with Lara then but i dont think they share the same confidence as you do in GGG.

Personally i think he gives GGG issues, he might not get the win but GGG would look ordinary.

Anyone that can KO Lara IMHO deserves every accolade that comes their way, not because Lara is a killer or anything but because he is a difficult fighter to beat and look good beating up, so no GGG isn't "Bodying" a mover like Lara.

Canelo could corner and body punch Lara. he hurt him a bucnh of times, and GGG manage spaces better than Nelo IMO, at least coming forward.

Unlike Canelo, GGG won't gas out and will be on Lara's ass 36 minutes + he cuts off the ring better.

Unlike Nelo and Jacobs, Lara doesn't have the pop to worry GGG let alone hurting him.

Ray, I never said GGG looks good vs Lara, I said he stops him late.

Listen, GGG will never get credit unless he put some Floydesk performances/ 120-108 shut outs wich isn't his level or style.

He beats Nelo no matter what Vegas judges said, 95% of fighters had GGG winning, and all the boxing world picked Nelo to outbox GGG, even by late stoppage.

He proved the boxing world wrong but once again isn't getting credit.

For him to stop Lara IMHO he has to pin him down, Lara moves a lot and when he knows he is fighting someone who carries GGG power then he would move tenfolds, there is no way he lands on Lara body.

If he can stop Lara that fight would have happened by now, Team GGG are not ******, GGG might be a killer but they also know which fights to pick for him.

I can see him winning but it would be a frustrating win where he would curse his team for putting him in with a fighter that doesn't want to engage at all.

There is such thing as cutting off the ring. The reason Canelo was able to get off the ropes when he gets cornered is that because Canelos punches are fast, strong and in bunches and Lara in the ropes would shoot that left then ran RFD away. No way GGG would be afraid of that straight left when Lara keeps on exposing that body. GGG would figure Lara out immediately and won't give him the chance to run.
