Canelo had a hard fight last night. No way he’s back in the ring with Cotto in 3 1/2 months. That means he starts his training camp in a month...
Then he has to fight again in May?
Canelo/GGG rematch cinco de mayo weekend. Cotto fights a name, maybe a welterweight in a farewell fight December.

I wouldn't like to see Golovkin fight Cotto. I wouldn't like to see Canelo-Cotto either.

From a financial standpoint though if Golovkin did it I get it. You wouldn't turn down the money. Golovkin is also at the point of his career where huge paydays may not be that plentiful. This is kind of like Sergio's last fight, though I think it probably would turn out a lot better for the champ.

In the end I doubt either guy will fight Cotto.
