You haters are too much man. What's hilarious is it took this long for all the **** you guys have been saying about GGG to finally come true with age, and yet even now, he's still undefeated, still champion, and Canelo struggled to win a clear round all fight.

Want to talk about deja vu? Of the clear rounds, GGG won 7-0 or 8-0, and yet just like Ward-Kovalev, every competitive round was given to the same guy, in this case Canelo, in that case Ward. Now there's your deja vu.

Golovkin got off to his usual SLOW start, losing early rounds in the process..... then he gassed after missing wildly with a TON of punches..... then he forgot to show up in the championship rounds

he was extremely lucky to escape with his belts

Golovkin aint no killer bro, rumors of his greatness have been exaggerated

he got exposed by a mid-level middleweight, then a blown-up JMW

It'll depend on the PPV numbers imo. If they're good, they'll definitely have a rematch in May. If not, I see it being possibly delayed a year or never happening.

I don't see why he wouldn't want a rematch? I thought he lost clearly but if he fight just as good or slightly better he can get a W just based on the crappy judging.

IMO he needs this fight more than Golovkin from a pride and historical perspective.

what happened to your " killer " ?

the excuses that are being handed around today, are waaaaay different than the promises that were handed around yesterday

          Danny Jacobs.
Why would Canelo ever dictate anything to Ggg when Ggg clearly beat both Canelo and Jacobs? I could see how some might think the canelo fight was a draw at most but if anyone seriously believes ggg lost to jacobs then you are just a blind fanboy because it wasnt close at all.

Another year would be another 5% decline for GGG. While Canelo would only get stronger as he enters or is now full prime. So it's in the interest of Golden Boy to just delay it even for a bit, but not too much that it will impact the interest of the people.

There will not be much of a qualm over the delay since the people are now satisfied that they've seen what these people could do on the ring with each other, and there's this deflection of the incompetent judge too.

Canelo needs this fight to vindicate himself just like andre ward needed and still needs to rematch kovalev due to horrible scorecards that everyone thinks is due to corruption. The reason why ward kovalev 2 got less viewers than the first is because everyone knew that ward would win no matter what and it was proven true in the rematch which ended with more corruption than the 1st fight. Canelo needs to fight ggg with impartial judges or him and golden boy will forever be tainted

                  just saying
What are the excuses? I predicted 10th round TKO and it didn't work that way. Just about no one's prediction played out in the end.

All said I believe; along with virtually all of boxing media, most fighters I've heard from, and the fans, Golovkin won that fight.

Unfortunately as I feared Golovkin was going to have to be super dominant to get a decision. He still should have won but that's that.

                  What was your prediction again?

What is funny is how you haters latch on to the most extreme Golovkin fan's comment and try to paint it like it is the norm. One guy or a couple of guys say Golovkin didn't try and KO Canelo (which is silly) and you want to make that that's what most GGG fans think.

I think you all are being too hard on Canelo. First he was ducking GGG, signs to fight the "monster" who was going knock him out, makes a great showing of himself, makes it a FOY candidate ... and still doesn't get the respect. I think everyone is upset that GGG did not steamroll him like everyone thought he would.
