Judges in boxing should not see any fight 5 rounds different from each other!!

It just shouldn't happen, ever. If judges did their job correctly their scorecards shouldn't differ more than a couple rounds either way based on what they SHOULD be scoring in a fight.

Scoring fights 5 -6 rounds differently from someone working the same fight as you is fking ridiculous.

It happens on almost a weekly basis at this point but only gets really noticed on fights like last nighs. Something needs to be done to make sure these types of ridiculous cards don't ruin a big event. I know boxing will never have a commission but the referee's and judges could certainly have some sort of Union or commission that properly trains and vetts these people. There's way too much incompetence involved in this sport.

If the rounds are close enough, I don't see how it's NOT possible.

In 12 close competitive rounds, the possibility exists for all 12 rounds to be swing rounds.

With that being said and 'possibilities' aside, this fight had quite a few close rounds which the narrative was defined as Golovkin's great jab vs Canelo's counter power shots.

I scored the fight 7 rounds to 5 for Canelo, 115-113. Would not argue with a draw or 115-113 the other way for Golovkin.

The fight was close, 2 cards were close, 1 was bad. The decision wasn't bad.

Fight was 7-5 for either guy due to swing rounds. Similar to Jacobs fight without the KD.

10-2 is not a good card regardless of who you have winning.

Also, the fanatics saying their guy won - fight was scored a draw. Nobody won. Do you know who really won? Vegas. 99% of bets were all profit since ~nobody bets on draw.

I personally had Cashnelo winning and I scored it 8-4 live and 7-5 after rewarding today. No idea how anyone could give someone 9 or 10 rounds

Not even just last night, I'm pretty sure over the last month or so we've seen some ****** cards in lots of fights. I think the Robert Easter fight had some similar cards and even people thought the Callum Smith fight was closer than the 117-111 type cards he got in his favor. But similar to PAC-Bradley 1 or even the draw Canelo got against Mayweather that 10-2 card was fking ridiculous. I thought GGG won 7-5 or 8-4 but at least the other 2 judges scored it almost the same which is all you can ask. No way someone should be seeing a close fight 10-2 lol

You know want? I wanted to agree with you but watching the fight again i could see some of the middle rounds that i initially scored to GGG going to Canelo. Its crazy but it was a close fight. Sometimes we need to deal with it and move on, instead of crying robbery. Robbery is Paul Williams getting the nod over Lara.

I think we can all agree that that 10-2 card is nuts, but the thing is with the subjectivity with scoring a round there is nothing really putting an onus on what DOES win a round exactly. Its too open to interpretation.

This is why this isn't even a weird thing. This is fairly common sh^t. Idk the last time I watched ten decisions without seeing some nutty scorecard.

Repeatedly blaming so called incompetence seems a willful ignorance in itself considering boxing's long history of corruption and the fact that these judges often have as much experience as anyone

Some sort of computer vision slow motion instant replay is in order
