Could JCC Jr be getting him paid THAT much to forgo the WBSS tournament? Dude definitely woulda f#cked up Callum Smith Saturday thats for sure. That'd have been about 2M with the win bonus & put him through to the semi's where I think they get 1.5M + a 1.5M win bonus.

Chavez Jr just needs to be consistent and discipline himself. Let's see what he can do at 168 which should be a more natural weight for him. Anything below that and he's draining himself and above it the competition is too big. I personally wouldn't purchase a Chavez Jr. PPV but I'll watch this fight to see if he's got anything left in him.

Absolutely. I don't get the hype with Callum at all. Okay he's tall for a 168lber. Great I guess. All I've seen is him look good vs stumblebums & when he fights his best opponent he damn near looks like he's about to quit or get taken out & that dude can't punch for sh^t. Dirrell is better than Skoglund + can punch. He'd have stopped Callum 100% if Dirrell didn't have mongoloid logic & decide not to enter the WBSS & potentially win $10M+.

Hell I'm not sure Callum won't lose to the Braehmer vs Brant winner in the semis & unless something happens with both Eubank Jr & Groves to prevent either one of them from making it to the finals I can't see how Callum gets by either of them.

Well don't get it wrong. I'm not saying he sucks. He's a good fighter, he's a world class guy, but he's not this guy I keep hearing UK fans talk about. I've seen him before, I've seen him Saturday & it wouldn't surprise me if this guy never wins a world title. He just not THAT good.

I thought he looked like he wanted to quit in a couple of those middle rounds. That round where his nose got busted up was one of them iirc. Respect on him pulling through & coming on later, but if he was in there with just a better guy or a guy with some power I think its very likely he'd been out of the WBSS already.

Thats crazy to me. Dirrell is hardly a guy I'm excited about but he's completed well & mostly dominated the better guys he's fought. His only L is a close decision loss to Badou Jack who's shown himself to be capable of winning belts in 2 divisions now.

Thats completely insane to me lol. I'm actually excited about Eubank Jr., unlike Dirrell, & there is no way Callum can hang with him. He gets hit way too much. He doesn't look comfortable when he's getting hit. I wouldn't be surprised if Callum quit vs Eubank Jr. cuz he's getting dinged up all night that night. I actually think Eubank Jr is gonna breeze through this tournament relatively easy & I think Groves is his real challenge in the Semis & if anyone beats him in this tournament it'll be Groves.

Eh, we will see cuz this all gets figured out in May.
