GGG landed tons of jabs last night which CLEARLY won him that fight. Seems like boxing fans of today have forgotten what a good strong jab is and that's sad. All these fans of today care about is "potshotting" and if you mix that with largely inactivity for the entire round then that wins you rounds according to many these days. Smh.

Mayweather for the last 5 years has been winning fights on just pot shots and jabs and with much less volume than ggg.

Very true, Mayweather gets the decision for throwing occasional pot shots with much less volume and GGG gets beat on a scorecard 118-110.

Big difference is that Floyd doesn't get hit clean with hardly anything. In the last 5 years, you can count the number of shots where Floyd was really hit flush on one hand.

Golovkin was apparently hit with more clean telling blows in the Alvarez fight than Floyd was hit with in the last 5 years.
