He couldn't do **** with him. He did land some good shots in the 7th, 8th and 12th however but for the most part Canelo was too slick to get tagged with anything meaningful. -

That was a close round.
I gave it to Golovkin but it also shows how masterful a job of defense Canelo was doing for the most part.
He looked like Floyd in there in spots.
Defense counts, and in rounds where Golovkin failed to score as good as this, the flurries and the defense were quite enough to give Saul the round.Comment

Brook clowned some GGG punches too. GGG wasn't able to hit him clean enough and often enough to hurt him. Canelo did remove some questions about his chin.Comment

Did not land on the chin, that's not to say Canelo didn't eat the shot well but side of the head versus chin are two different things. I am though impressed that Canelo ate that punch the way he did, but don't know if he goes "nope" with that landing square on the chin.Comment

There was a shot that landed on a Canelo that hurt him. I can't remember what round (maybe round 8 or 9), but GGG landed a flush right hand in between Canelo's combination.Comment
