He got put into a shell because of GGG's jab and heavy hands, and also his own stamina issues meant he had to conserve his pace. I am not surprised at all. Lil Floyd was backing him up with right hands and making him tenative. So not shocking at all that GGG would make Canelo tenative.

No, but he has a conservative mindset and can get put into a shell when he's getting hit. Doesn't have the crazy "do or die" mindset of someone like a prime morales or saad.
