Sad to see; but just as in life, when an at first loving couple, husband n wife or bf n gf are emotional and complimentary, and the next thing you know it's splitsville and all over. So even with a good business/ sporting relationship.

        3. Lack of stamina after 8 rounds.

Smartest trainer out there now is Virgil Hunter. Kov should have him on speed dial.
Agree with strengths & weaknesses & you can add another strength: Good at keeping distance. If I were kovalev I would try to get a Stevenson fight then retire cuz there are not many good pay-days ahead....& Virgil shouldn't train him, it might throw off kovalev after a tough defeat.

Kov said himself he gassed out after round 5 in the 1st contest. If your gonna argue for him that he won the first match, at least call him to make sure y'all on the same page.

                  He (Overtrained) remember?

If Kovalev's not working hard or listening to his trainer that could be frustrating but based on all the **** talk going around I put it more on Jackson. Either way they're better off without each other.

If Kov and Ward aren't going to fight again I think Kovalev should try working with Virgil too.

If there's still some bitterness there than probably not but I get the feeling Kovalev and Hunter are both the types to let that go.
