    7/29 - 8/26 - 9/16 how the tables have turned!

Wow......my my my what a difference a month in a half makes for mma and boxing eh fellas? Ok before I begin I must admit I only saw bits and pieces of canelo/GGG because I was live streaming it at work....I had the night shift ( I plan on watching after I post this). I did however see Jones vs comier 2 and may/mac.

7/29 Mma: This fight was supposed to be the one. 2 years in the making. Jones fight went the way of Cinderella. Dude got his **** together culminating in a Marquez/pac4 ish ktfo that was joyful to watch and silenced all doubters. Jon Jones became tbe of mma right before our eyes.
Then....boom! popped for steroids....again! Comier gets the belt back. How sway! How?!

8/26 boxing/ mma: a 40yr old, 2 years retired, smaller boxer in Mayweather came back against the best striker in mma who was bigger with a longer reach, and in his prime making his boxing debut. If your a boxing fan: probably would've like to see the stoppage sooner as you knew Floyd carried him. Mma fan: at least Connor made it ten rds with boxings best. Casual fan of both: wow McGregor had some good moments, Mayweather didn't run, there was a stoppage exciting fight.

9/16 Boxing: This fight was supposed to be the one. 2 years in the making. After the clown show that was may/Mac, this fight was supposed to bring us together From all accounts, with more people watching who normally wouldn't outta curiosity after hearing the whole time that this is the real fight that fans should watch. Middleweight supremacy! And yet our worst fears were realized. A draw with an asinine 118- 110!? How sway!? How!!!

How is it that the amalgamation clown fight lived up to the hype better Than the fight to save boxing and lift mma? How sway? I need some answers.

      Canelo-GGG was a better fight than Mayweather-McGregor

The scoring is what leaves a bitter taste in people's mouths

This. And Hopkins and Bob Bennett and NSAC. All of them need to go to hell.

I believe it. It like the scoring wiped away such a precious gift to us fans. A draw, win, ko, whatever just let us have it with out the extra bs. And people will remember that scoring more than the fight is saddening

Was it though? We saw a lot of missing in both fights? But one fight had a MMA with zero boxing experience and a retired 40 year old. We saw one guy get gassed and seemed to be in survival in both fights. But one guy was a MMA fighter with zero boxing experience and other was a world class fighter. One fight had a stoppage and a definitive ending. While the other ended in a draw.

Tell me again how this was a better fight.

Mayweather-McGregor had no drama. You knew by the middle rounds Floyd was taking it.

              I enjoyed Canelo-GGG more.

                  That's fair.

I thought the fight was anticlimactic because of the draw. We all expected a BS decision but a draw is a slap in the face of fans who paid to watch it. This fight did a lot more damage to boxing than McGregor/Mayweather.

It is sorta ironic how the circus fight left a better taste in non-boxing fans mouth than the "elite level MW supremacy" fight did. Seeing mfers cursing boxing all over twitter more about this fight than the circus fight lmfao.

I thought both fights were fun personally & was enjoying myself from 1st to last round with both of them.
