I didnt expect GGG to look like that, i thought he would run away with it in the later rounds and stop Canelo.

GGG looked hesitant in there, especially whenever Canelo was on the ropes

Canelo 100% landed the cleaner more damaging punches

looked hesitant? canelo wasnt throwing a damn thing from when he was sitting on the ropes which was half the fight lol. GGG wasnt brutalising him on the ropes thats for sure but he was getting through with shots whilst canelo was trying to dodge and throwing very little in response.Its better to look a bit clumsy and land then to dodge some shots and not fire back with anything. Ive seen this in another fights on here, people seem to automatically think whoever is on the back foot is 'the boxer' and giving them credit for dodging stuff without landing many shots of there own. The compubox figures were spot on, was clear ggg significantly outlanded him.

I had nelo up by one round. Golovkin was too easy to hit & missed A Lot of punches. The only negative by nelo was that he was tired.

I agree there was literally not one what I would call clear dominant round in the whole fight, so the reaction here is quite comical.

I had it a draw, and honestly watching the fight back even the supposed dominant middle rounds for GGG were close. It could have been 116-112 either way and everything in between.

The general theme of the fight was Canelo's clean power punches vs GGG's more workman like performance and workrate. Skill-wise GGG is good, but Canelo is on another level, the sections where GGG had the advantage in the fight was where he just kept the pressure on, out-hustled, and outworked Canelo.

GGG was never in control....that fight was even, tit for tat, with Canelo landing the cleaner shots.
