As were Ward and Canelo. Just imagine. Boxers are like... ordinary people.
No, kovalev and golovkin have to shoved in the faces of hbo boxing fans. You can't keep fighting the geales, and the Brooks, and wades of the world and then be ready for A level fighters of the world

Well, Kova did beat an old Bhop who had already beaten Pascal before Kova... so Kovalev does get some credit for easy fights

I'm not quite understanding you. Are you saying you object to the way HBO promote fighters who you don't like? I guess you're entitled to that opinion. Myself I like all 4 of these fighters and consider them all 'A' level. I expect HBO to promote their fighters just as any other company would promote there product and naturally expect there to be some hyperbole - even for the guys who may not be my personal favourite. Just the way the world works, man.

Well... ggg did have have a Wade - a house arrest boxer in 2 weeks notice not even in training - to then Brook.
TC seems to be one fortunate boxer, to have gotten some justifiable bouts, maybe not so much Lundy (who went 12 with Postol), but it's better than many post PAC matchups. I mean what about Loma before and the matchmaking criticism?

I'm not entirely sure what point you're trying to make so I'll just roll out my stock resume response and hope it's moderately relevent.
Resume's just as much opportunity as ability in this sport - you can only beat the guy once he actually gets in the ring with you. Granted Golovkin has some dross on there, but as an overall body of work his resume now stacks up favourably against all but a very few in the sport.
WEll for one it looked like Canelo was gassed. But I do agree r in both cases Kovalev and GGG were robbed.
Whether he gassed or not really isn't the point...the point is the difference in skill is beyond obvious. Golovkin was used to being a stalker and didn't think canelo was able to use his legs...canelo's hand speed, combinations, head movement, pivots were too much for golovkin. If canelo doesn't get tired, golovkin DOES NOT go 12. All his fans better hope his conditioning doesn't greatly improve in a rematch.
