Canelo constantly improving yet GGG has been looking one dimensional

GGG was supposed to be stronger and the harder hitter.

Yet looked like all he had was the better gas tank.

Canelo looked skilled while ggg looked like a caveman with regressing skills.

    I thought mexicans hated runners.

Canelo definitely improved on his flat footedness... He was running away from GGG and really using those legs of his like a real Jefe!

Canelo made Lara look like Mike Tyson.

Notice how they like runners all of a sudden.

I'm a Mexican and even though I did root for canelo and felt a draw was a fair result, he leaves me dissapointed again. We've been spoiled by Chavez Sr, finito lopez, Barrera, Morales, Marquez who always had the ability to let the hands go. Till this day even though I have seen canelo drop fighters with a hard punch, never have I seen him pull that trigger the way these other Mexican fighters did and that puts canelo below them. In a way I look at this night as one of the last hurrahs because frankly canelo won't be able to carry ppvs and I don't see anyone else waiting in the wings.

I don't know how getting jabed in the face every 5 seconds of 36 minutes makes you such a skilled defensive guy and a supposed winner.

I'm not a GGG hater, but I was amused how Canelo kept making Golovkin miss by doing that same strafe/sidestep to the left all night. It really showed that GGG isn't really that well-rounded of a fighter.
