Should have been a poll but never mind, I pick Jacobs I thought he did slightly better than canelo who clearly gassed somewhere in the middle rounds. But then again he got knockdown so it swayed a bit in favor of GGG. GGG been tiptoeing lately, he's about to lose in his next couple of fights.

G didn't want to knock out Jacobs to scare away Canelo. Why didn't he knock out Canelo?

The excuse with the Jacobs fight was the knockdown
          What's the excuse now?

I thought GGG fought better tonight than he did against Jacobs. But Canelo landed more cleaner punches than Danny.

I had the Jacobs fight 6-5-1 for Jacobs but a draw because of the KD, this fight I had it 6-5-1 for GGG and there were no knockdowns, however I think Jacobs has a better chance in the rematch than Canelo because he should only correct some little mistakes he made in the first fight and then he can decisively beat GGG in a rematch.

Canelo on the other hand has these stamina issues that will always cost him against GGG's pressure, all he needed was one more round though and I'd have him winning, so if he could stop laying on the ropes more then he could also win but it's a big ask for a small guy like Canelo, he really showed why there are weight classes in boxing and that Canelo is clearly NOT a natural middleweight. Canelo is nothing more than a LMW who couldn't make weight because of too much muscle on his legs that makes him even slower, I think Jacobs and Jermall Charlo might stop Canelo and BJ Saunders would easily outbox Canelo, but that's just me.

I had Canelo as a favorite when the fight was first announced but as soon as I watched the media workout I switched to GGG because it appeared that all the muscles had Canelo breathing hard while working with his trainers, and they worked for like 2 rounds or something, GGG looked cool calm collected, perfect frame for a middleweight fighter. Glad he got to keep his belts tonight.

Same for them, one was better in some thing the other in others, but both won GGG by a very close diference for me.

Canelo, backed GGG up more than several times, had him way more respectful of his counters, went to the body more, had GGG breathing out his mouth a bit and didn't get dropped!

                    I scored GGG/Jacobs 113-114 Jacobs, and GGG/Canelo 116-112 Golovkin.
                    So Jacobs.

I was going to say Jacobs did better but I might have to rethink that. Canelo did pretty good in the first 3 rounds. But the reason I tend to think Jacobs did better is because he slowed down Golovkin enough so that he wasn't constantly threatened by his pressure...Well, I mean he wasn't under as intense pressure as Canelo was...and Canelo seemed to get hit more. Canelo also looked to be fading in the middle of the fight and I felt he was just trying to give the impression that he was hanging tight with GGG later in the fight...but I think he was really feeling the pace and he was having great difficulty keeping himself together. Canelo suffered more damage than Jacobs.....OK, yes, Jacobs did better.
