He get's that reaction there but not in America especially after his last performance. Those fan's also can't fight for Hatton but he does have loyal fan's.

I agree in Manchester he get's great ovation's, but I was saying that it woulden't translate to the US or anywhere else across the water. If Cotto fought in PR or AM or some other Mexican fighter in Mexico they would be similar IMO. Also you're taking a shot at PBF but he's the P4P king which will bring some kind of universal recognition atleast amongst fight fan's. Hatton isn't well known outside of his backyard and I'm not a Hatton hater I respest him seems like a nice guy, but thus far he isn't known everywhere yet. If PBF went to Manchester boxing fan's would know him, many haden't seen Hatton fight before the Collazo fight in the US.

Basicly mystyal2k5, or cotto in PR and Tyson here in his prime. He was just trying to take a shot at PBF anyway, or he would have just compared the reaction to other boxers in general instead of singleing mayweather out.

Yeah, I would say if JCC fought in Mexico, PacMan fought in Phillipines they would get at the very an equal reaction if not greater. Remember in there respective countries they were Gods to not just boxing fans but to everyone in there country.

I would say Gatti probably gets a similar reaction in AC and Trinidad in Madison Square Garden might rival that also. Certainly prime Tyson and Ali would get that reaction no matter what country he fought in.

But it is still very impressive. I wonder how awesome it must feel for thousands of people to be cheering for you, must be a tremendous rush.

probably because if the recognized him for what he is, they would have to accept that their boy Ricky isn't as good....In Soviet Russia we know Pretty Boy Floyd
