The better storyline for a rematch would have been with Canelo losing a close decision and then demanding the immediate rematch to "set things straight"


I think the horrible scorecard in this fight will actually turn alot of people off, and thus make the rematch less likely.

hopefully you are right. This fight doesn't need a rematch. It was a close, but clear who was the better man.
And the fight wasn't that good.

Canelo went thru hell in that fight. I thought he won but he went thru hell and back. He doesn't have the power to keep GGG at bay. He's not big enough to muscle GGG on the inside. GGG faded late against Jacobs. He came on strong against Canelo in the later rds. Hl

I don't think Canelo wants to go against that constant pressure again. I highly doubt there will be a rematch.
