well, I think he is quicker AND better, and will do more than just edge a few early rounds

I believe that Alvarez is not only quicker, he is also better in a number of area's..... defence being one of them, combination punching being another

Golovkin is a notorious slow starter, and not difficult to time..... I think they will target him early

I think that Canelo could touch Golovkin up early, and even hurt him..... I don't think he will have any problem gaining Gennady's respect..... so not sure if the tide will turn so sharply in the middle of the fight like Cliff suggests

Alvarez will tire/slow, and Golovkin will come on..... but I think that phase could be more of a tense stand-off with Golovkin being a little hesitant like he was with Jacobs and even Brook in spots..... and Golovkin can get a little sloppy when he tires, which will give Canelo plenty of opportunities

not sure if this will be the war that people think

      * the better/smarter guy will win, IF he sticks to his gameplan
      * and the guy with the best corner will have a big advantage
      * boxing is a young mans game

those factors all favor the fat red kid

best of luck to both guys, can't wait

I almost spit my beer all over my phone.

Boxing has to do something to put on a better undercard. These fights are not competitive and worst of all they always go the distance. Remember the cards of the 80s and 90s when they were stacked with top notch fights.

I would worry more about Byrd. She had Hopkins winning over Calzaghe.
