terrible fight. smith would be beaten by degale, eubank and groves. looked like he gassed out a few rounds, has a bad jab and has slow hand movement. this was the guy they said beats degale, but couldn't finish a euro level journeyman.

had this guy as a fav in the tournament but he is just big, barely any technical skills, forces his punches, has a mediocre jab and has poor stamina.

also whats with the hugging and touching gloves every round and touching each others gloves during the rounds, in the middle of the fight? ****, tired of dudes acting like friends in the fight. boxing becoming so pussified.

smith doesn't have that killer instinct with his smiling and friendliness

I said it would be disappointing if we're only in the second fight of the whole WBSS thing and we already get a bad scorecard. Which it was. Thought Smith probably edged it but they were too wide. Skoglund never had a chance.
          ah duh, misread it. lol.

I was like Usyk really beat Huck. =P

I agree, Smith edged it, but this was quite bad on the scorecards. Hopefully it is not a start to the night.... Saunders/GGG fights.

            117-111

That was a damn close fight that could've gone either way. However we all knew it would be pretty much impossible for a Swede to fight the big favorite who happens to beat a scouser in Liverpool on points. Skoglund needed a KO

This cat definitely is a live favorite to get upset by anyone in this tournament. Still amazed people had this dude the favorite to win the whole thing. Granted he does got the easiest path to the finals cuz he's in the bs bracket, but unless Groves or Eubank Jr fall out of the tournament he's not getting past either of them in the finals.

Normal score. Right on point. Skoglund clearly won 5-7, three rounds combined.

The supermiddle tourney leaves a bad taste, i only see the uk fighters advancing because of hometown advantages, the 3 top dogs in the weight are missing, Ramirez, Benavidez and DeGale

Those scorecards"peeleft:. Skoglund should be proud of himself, he put on a good fight.
